Southern AgCredit, a rural lending cooperative, recently hired Dru Brakefield as a customer service representative in its Gulfport, Mississippi branch office.  

Brakefield attended Pearl River Community College and plans to pursue a degree in communications. Before joining Southern AgCredit, she worked at Palmetto Veterinary Medicine and Surgery for four years.

A native of McConnells, South Carolina, Brakefield now lives in Carriere, Mississippi.
