The Southern AgCredit logo was named the top illustration/graphic art entry in the 2009 Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) communications contest. The entry placed first among nine entries from other cooperatives including the Kentucky Association of Electric Cooperatives, the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives, Organic Valley Cooperative, and USDA Rural Cooperatives magazine.

“This is a real honor for us, and we are proud that the new name and logo have been well received. It accurately describes who we are and what we do,” said Joe H. Hayman, CEO of Southern AgCredit.

The Cooperative Communicators Association is an organization of 350 professionals who communicate for cooperatives. These professionals collectively submitted 815 entries into this year’s communications contest.
