Southern AgCredit is a full service cooperative lender specializing in financing rural land and agricultural operations in south Mississippi.

We are part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, which was established by Congress in 1916.

On January 1, 2009, we became an Agricultural Credit Association, which expanded our lending authority from strictly rural land loans to also include agricultural operating and equipment loans.

To reflect our new status as a full service lender, we also changed our name from Land Bank South to Southern AgCredit, effective January 1, 2009.
